iCloud-like Android backup without root

This is the one big issue I've run into in my time using the Nexus 4 as my primary device: what backup can take my settings, apps and overall organization of my home screens and save that for future restores like iCloud backups?

With 4.2.2 I'd like to do a full restore to make sure I'm taking full advantage of the increased battery life and I'm not find of having to set my phone up all over again now that I have it the way I like it
